Third Time Lucky
Welcome to my 3rd blog post! Here's a few random things I need to get off my chest in the opening paragraph; This year is flying by but also stuff that happened this January feels like years ago?? I am also really considering starting a petition for there to be more hours in the day, the evenings go too quickly and there’s not enough time to sleep. I should probably do less, but I’m like my mum and get serious FOMO (fear of missing out) if I don’t go to something lmao. Most of my money is going on train tickets, I have a railcard which is a lifesaver but I wish they did loyalty cards because I’d have SO many points. Now back to this blog, I’ll be talking about ALL the new music that’s come out and is about to, so exciting. Now firstly, Class…
Have you heard of Class?
“Have you heard of Class?” Is one of the first things I said to Emma on her 19th birthday weekend in the cab on our way to G-A-Y Heaven. I didn’t mean for it to come out like that. But for those of you who don’t know, Class is a brand-new BBC Three show which started yesterday and is a Doctor Who spinoff. And if you know me you know I LOVE Who. So I was on twitter (shocker) and saw that you could enter to win tickets to the world premiere so obvs I did and then I won a pair! So I took my girl Freya on Thursday night and we had the best time! It was super cool to go to a premiere as well. We got to watch the first episode which was so awesome, I am already in love with this series. I don’t wanna ruin it for anyone but one thing I love about the show is the diverse cast, so refreshing. The premiere also included a Q&A with the cast which was so awesome and Freya and I as actors (how much of dick do I sound?) really appreciated it on a creative level. After the Q&A all the cast mingled with all the fans which was super cool and I got to speak to a bunch of the actors who were all really lovely and gave us some acting and industry tips.
The first two episodes are available to watch online now; http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p048h1bz/episodes/guide

DROPPED
So new music is dropping like the x factors ratings – LIKE CRAZY! So let’s get started
After just shading the x factor I’m starting with the best thing to come from the show, Little Mix. I’ve just sent off my application to be the 5th member of the best group of 10’s because they are back with Shoutout To My Ex, another bop. I love these girls so much and I’m so glad they are back already after their masterpiece of an album Get Weird.
I went to Heaven (nightclub in London) two weekends in a row which was amazing in itself, love it there, but it also meant I saw Mollie King and Rebecca Ferguson (and Bratavio lmao). I absolutely love The Saturdays, they are one of my favourite groups, they have so many pops. As good as Mollie was, I can’t wait for The Saturdays to get back together, but while we wait for that reunion, check out her new song Back To You. Rebecca’s vocals were insane and she played Nothing's Real But Love which is such a good song but you all have to check out her new song Bones which is amazing.
In case you don’t know Lily Allen co-owns a record label called Bank Holiday Records and their latest artist is Celeste and you’ve gotta check out her debut song Daydreaming which is just so good and her vocals slay.

For me the biggest release of the month, the best album of the year since Beyoncé dropped Lemonade, Lady Gaga’s new album Joanne is finally here!!! My favourite songs from the album keep changing so its probably best you just listen to the whole album but currently Hey Girl and Grigios Girls are my fav two. I just love the message in Hey Girl of girl power and girls supporting and loving each other, plus Gaga and Florence’s voices go SO well together (yes Florence Welch and Lady Gaga have a song together and yes you have to listen to it) Then Grigios Girls just makes me feel some kinda way, such a beautiful song, with stunning lyrics. I can’t wait to see this album live, Gaga if you’re reading this then please get to the UK asap and tour.
Some music to come: Marina and the Diamonds, P!nk and Nicki Minaj are all working on new music which I just can’t wait for. But sooner than that Kate Nash tweeted that she was releasing a new song at the end of this month which i just cant explain my excitement for.
I can’t talk about music and not properly mention Lily ;) so this bitch tweeted this in March and in case you are unaware we are now in October

But she has now hinted at a new song around Christmas time and the album next year???

I think my life might end if she doesn’t drop a new song this year so let’s keep our fingers crossed.
So my girl has been bring awareness to the devastating situation in Calais and if you haven’t already check out this short video about Lil’s trip http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p04brr30
Happy ending for Sham who arrived in the UK earlier this week https://twitter.com/lilyallen/status/788722849880170496
